Five complete homepage designs, the thinking behind them, and straight answers to what you raised.
Prepared for Ilias by EdTheDev
Ilias — rather than just tell you what a new website could do, I’ve built it. Five complete homepage designs, all on your own logo and colours, using your real Google reviews and the way you actually work. Watch the short walk-through video, have a scroll of the designs yourself, and this one-pager explains the thinking and answers — straight — the things you raised on our call.
5.0★★★★★64 Google reviews — designed in, front and centreThe designs
Every one uses your logo, your maroon and gold, and your real Google reviews — they just differ in personality, so you choose the feel that’s most you.
Each one is a complete homepage, not just a banner — your hero with your reviews, the services you offer, a simple “how it works”, more of your Google reviews, a map of the Kent areas you cover, and clear ways to get in touch. These thumbnails show only the top of each; the walk-through video takes you through the whole page.
The thinking
Your logo — the van and globe — and your maroon and gold run through every design. This isn’t a rebrand; anyone who’s seen your van knows straight away it’s you.
Your 5.0 from 64 reviews is the first thing a visitor sees, laid out exactly like Google. Nothing I could write is as convincing as your own stars.
A real map of your area and the towns you cover, so the site says “this is your local mover” at a glance — and it helps you show up for the local searches that bring the calls.
Most people find a mover on their phone. Every design is fast and mobile-first, with your number one tap away.
You answer your own phone — so the site sounds like that: a real local you can ring, not a faceless national firm.
It’s your brand, so you choose the feel. Pick the one that’s most “you” and I build that one, properly.
Straight answers
That’s the fear that matters most, so here’s the honest version. I won’t promise you a #1 spot — and be wary of anyone who does; Google themselves warn against it. But results aren’t magic, they’re a few things done consistently: a fast mobile site that turns visits into calls, your Google listing polished and your reviews kept growing (the biggest factor in the local map), consistent listings across the web so Google trusts you, and a few useful local pages so you show up for “removals Canterbury” and “man & van Kent”. It builds over a few months, not overnight — but you see the real numbers every month, so you’re never in the dark. And the part that protects you: £0 up front and a six-month get-out — if it isn’t working, you walk away. That’s the opposite of pay-a-lot-and-hope.
No — when it’s done properly, which is the only way I do it. We keep your domain, point every old page to the new one so nothing is lost, and your Google Business listing isn’t touched at all. It’s Google’s own recommended way to move a site: a short settle-in, then you’re stronger than before.
You don’t start from scratch. Canterbury Man & Van stays your name and your brand — we simply widen what you show up for: man & van and house & office removals, across Canterbury and all of Kent. You keep everything you’ve built and reach more of the people already searching.
Put it against your own numbers: at £80 an hour, a single extra booking more than covers the month — and there’s nothing to pay up front. The first year covers building the site and the active SEO that gets you moving; after that it can drop to £39. It only has to work a little to pay for itself, and the aim is a lot more than a little.
The plan
Mobile-first and built to turn visitors into phone calls — on your brand.
Tuned for the Canterbury & Kent searches that matter, your listing polished, reviews front and centre.
A simple, no-nagging way to keep the five-star reviews coming.
Useful local pages that build authority — then ongoing upkeep, with a plain monthly note on where you stand.
That first year covers building the site and the active SEO. After 12 months you can move to a lighter £39 / month plan.
What happens next
Have a look through the walk-through video and the designs, and tell me which one feels most like you — then a quick call and we’re moving. No pressure, and any question at all, I’m a phone call away.
